Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine associations among the school physical activity environment, teaching competencies, and student satisfaction in physical education (PE) classes. The quantitative research design employed a descriptive-correlational method. Respondents were senior high school students from Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School, Dugmanon National High School, and Cambatong National High School in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. Survey questionnaires were used for data collection. Data analysis was performed using the mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression. Findings revealed that the school's physical activity environment, teaching competencies, and student satisfaction in PE were rated high. A strong positive correlation among the variables was also observed. Both the school's physical activity environment and teaching competencies positively affected student satisfaction in PE classes.Abstract should be Times New Roman, 10, Black, 150-200 words only, in single-paragraph form.
