The purpose of the study was to investigate the mediating effect of physical education attitude on the relationship between grit and academic resilience among junior high school students in physical education during the last quarter of 2024. The study employed quantitative, descriptive-correlational, and predictive designs with junior high school students from different schools in Carmen, Division of North Cotabato. Several adapted instruments were used, based on the work of various authors. Mean, standard deviation, Pearson's r, and mediation analysis were used to analyze the data. The results revealed the following: Grit was high; physical education attitude was also high and positive; and academic resilience was high. Significant relationships were found between grit and physical education attitude, as well as between physical education attitude and academic resilience. Physical education attitude partially mediated the relationship between grit and academic resilience.
