Abstract

This descriptive-correlational study aimed to determine the influence of leadership styles and organizational commitment on the turnover intentions of millennial teachers in private secondary schools in Davao City. Three adapted instruments were used to determine the status of school principals' leadership styles and levels of millennial teachers' organizational commitment and turnover intentions. The data gathered was then analyzed and interpreted. The results revealed that the status of school principals' leadership styles and the level of millennial teachers' turnover intentions were high. The results showed that millennial teachers' organizational commitment was at a moderate level. It was also found that leadership styles and organizational commitment have a significant relationship with the turnover intentions of millennial teachers. Further, the result also showed that leadership styles did not significantly influence turnover intentions, while organizational commitment significantly influenced the turnover intentions of millennial teachers.
